Preschool programs provide for the important early development of a child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Optimal growth in these areas during the preschool years is crucial for successful learning in later years. It is important that those working with young children in the preschool setting be well prepared to provide appropriate, quality programs.

Through the completion of Edinboro University’s Associate in Preschool Education program, you will acquire the competencies and skills necessary to work effectively with young children.
