White Hall Built in 1878, White Hall is the second oldest building still standing on the campus. Originally known as Music Hall, the building was devoted exclusively to music, with practice, recital and classrooms. From 1917 to 1961, White Hall provided dormitory housing until it was converted to office space for the English department. Local offices of the faculty union (APSCUF) currently occupy the facility.
