Music Building The University is constructing a new music building behind Heather Hall. The yet unnamed $4.4 million music building will contain approximately 19,000 square feet and include a new recital hall, as well as more practice rooms and lab space. Unlike the current music building, Heather Hall, which was originally built as a residence hall, the new building is environmentally designed for music and is expected to have a significant, positive impact on the University's 70 music majors and 20 music faculty members.
